Some months ago, i did a cover for a book (Retalhos de Um Pesadelo - Pieces of a Nightmare) a aunt of mine had written. Everything went smooth and the book got published, so i innocently did one of the worst mistakes a Designer/Illustrator shouldn't EVER do (thank God this wasn't a paying project):
(really, really..reheheheally bad things will happen to you if you do so)
So in face of a impending deadline (the next...or TODAY if you will..), i spent the whole night trying to rebuild an old sketch i did for that book cover, in a attempt to catch the same feeling i had caught when i did the original artwork. Luckly this will be used for invitations and flyers, so, i don't think it'll make a whole lot difference if i leave this or that detail out.
